I've just completed week 1 of the slimming world diet. I got weighed yesterday after waking up and according to my scales I've lost 7lbs!
I'm not sure if I believe it though as it said the same for my wife yet when she went to slimming world club she had only lost 1.5lbs according to their scales. The scales at SW and our scales matched up last week after my wife's first weigh in so I'm not entirely sure how they can be out so much this week.
I've weighed myself on my scales at 3 separate times in the last 24 hours to see if there was a massive fluctuation and there wasn't so I'm sticking to my 7lbs! I do feel as though I've lost something.
I only managed the gym twice in the last 7 days but managed to get 1 hour 30 minutes of cardio over the two sessions which is more than I've done in the last 6 months I reckon.
It was a hard first week when you're used to eating 2 chocolate bars almost every day or lots of biscuits etc it is a shock to just stop eating them but it needs to be done. On SW you can have a chocolate bar every day as part pf your "syns" as long as you eat healthily throughout the day. haven't succumbed to that yet. I had grapes for breakfast the other day!!
You know you've been way too unhealthy when your on your diet and your 11 month old daughter has a Milky bar, and after you've opened it for her you sit there smelling the wrapper to get your chocolate fix.
I have a week off work this week and one pair of my work trousers are quite tight. I will know how much I've lost next week whenIi go back if said pair of trousers fit me better.
I've gone from 17 stone to 16.7 stone. My aim this week is to be at 16.4 stone on weigh day which will be next tuesday.
